I already have a dog, lab retriever. I want a small dog(weight=5-10kgs) that doesn't make a lot of noise and doesn't need endless amounts of grooming.If you suggest a breed, suggest names as well for both male and female. Thanks

I would say a pug - They have great personalities and are great companions, and get along with labs well too. Male - VitoFemale - Noodle

try a pug...wonderful dogs, but are very clingy...but will immidiatly become your favorite...smart, clever, very loving

Both pugs and dachshunds are very noisey...trust me I live next to a pug who barks day and night...and my aunt has a dachshund that barks all the time and attacks everyone. The smallest quiet dog I can think of i s the Basenji, they're a small dog - but not nearly as small as the pug and dauchsaund. They're increadibly quiet, but when they do make noise they yodel. It's very funny.
