Default What is my dog's breed?

I was told she was 4 months old and part Border Collie / Lab. But I have many Border Collies and she looks alot different than them and not like a lab to me either. She also just went into heat and is pretty large so I think she is a little older.Any idea on what her breed may be?You can find pictures of her here:http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...mily.jpgThanks for the answers. The previous owners were completely guessing as to what she was as they did not see the parents. I thought maybe her tail was common of a certain breed as it is kind of different.

Definatly part lab (she has the face) and collie, or maybe even spaniel. You could talk to your vet. They may have a good idea, as they could look for distinguishing characteristics of certain breeds. Good luck, and she is a beauty! :-)

I would have to say... uh... BORDER COLLIE/LABRADOR I have seen many mixed breed dog at the shelter I volunteer with that don't look a lot like either of the breeds in the mix, but I trust the vet to give a trustworthy answer to what they are. Anyways. Looks like a BC/lab to me. Good Luck!

I have labs all of my life. Your's doesn't resemble a lab. I agree with you that she does not look much like a border collie. Possibly dalmation with some shephard? I would recommend that you take to your vet. They are usually pretty good.

She looks like she's mixed with English Springer Spaniel and Lab. I used to have that mix when I was a girl and She had those exact same markings. I also thought maybe a setter like the other person who answered, but Setters are usually larger than English Springer Spaniels and you said she's already in heat at the size she is now.You can google English Springer Spaniel for pics.Hope this helps!
