My pure bred pitt bull got pregnant by a mixed breed dog, will this ruin her from...
...having a pure bred litter ? I would like to breed my pitt with another pure bred pitt bull but I was told she is ruined from having another litter of pure bred dogs becuse her first litter came from a mixed bredd dog, Is this true?
i wouldnt think so because her 2nd litter would have her dna and the pure bred father's dna meaning all the dna in the litter would be pure bred. it doesnt make sense for her 2nd litter to be "ruined." maybe that's just a dog breeder thing?? i dunno maybe im wrong im not a dog or biology expert
no. this particular litter will not be pure breds, but future litters could still be. it's like if an italian mom has her first child with an irish man and her second with an italian man. the second child is considered a full blooded italian, while the first is considered multicultural.
no not at all if you breed her with a full blooed pit she will have a full blooded litter of pups dogs are like people they produce eggs everytime they come in heat dont worry bout just keep a closer eye on her next time
That is a bunch of crap. If your dog gets pregnant by a mix breed then she will have puppies that are not pure breed, but if she gets pregnant by a pure breed pitt then her puppies will be pure breed that is if your pitt is even pure breed it self.
