i just thought i should clear a few things up that i left out with my last post. when i first got her and the father of the 1 lone puppy she was already pregnant and supposed to have been fixed already, they were both badly abused and the father had to be in the hospital for sometime to repair his broken rib and perforated lung, i am not trying to breed them we had enough problems with the 1st litter we almost lost her and the other 2 pups died during delivery, and as soon as i knew that they had ''tied'' i took the steps i was supposed to, i was just asking about the liklyhood of this happening i understand the problem with over populated animal shelters, but my vet said with the problems she had that it would be a good idea to wait 6 mos befor fixing her. and her son apperantly decided to beat me to the punch.....

Usually around 6 months they can ejaculate. Depends on the dog if it is "potent" or not at that age, but it usually is. Definately by 8 months I would say everything is working properly.
