hi i've recently had a jack russell x, from a family member who was moving on but the dog would of sadly been sent back to the dogs home where she had only left 3 months previous, i couldn't see her go back no animal should have to put up with been passed from pillr to post. i've never had a dog before and never really imagined i would, but she's adapted brilliantly to living with me and i to her (never thought i'd get soppy about a dog either), she's a lovely natured dog, but does from time to time get territorial about her surroundings, she parades around the garden and should anyone walk within a certain perimeter she barks like crazy... (any tips on how to control barking would be brilliant if anyone could advise) She's very affectionate and loves to lick which drives me a bit crazy but i see why she does it, she's happy i guess. she's not sociable with other dogs she'll sniff a little then goes a bit crazy as you attempt to walk away (little dog syndrome i call it). so i posted some pictures and if anyone has any idea as to what she may be crossed with or even how to stop the barking then please post back. all the best

She definately has Jack Russell in her because I know a lot about Jack Russells. The thing is is that she may not be a hybrid. See the thing is she looks like a jack russell purebred to me. She may be a purebred jack russell but doesnt look like one. Just because she may not look like one doesnt mean that she is. See you could put a german shepherd over a jack russell and the pups might come out looking like a greyhound. You never know.
