Let's talk about Black Russian Terrier dogs! Please share you experiences, thoughts and feelings about the Black Russian Terrier dog and Black Russian Terrier puppies.

We owned a BRT until she was 14 yrs. old. She was by far the BEST dog we ever had! We would definately have another if they weren't so darn expensive to get. We have a friend who also owns BRTs and all of her dogs are GREAT. My kids have grown up with them. When our oldest daughter was little she would walk behind one that weighed well over 100 pound and he would let her grab his little nubby (tail) and he would jus tpull her along. They are very watchful over children and would protect them to no end. I know that our baby girl would have given her life to save one of us. These dogs are amazing dogs and I would recommend to anyone who wanted a great dog for the children. That being said, I do own other large dogs. We have a St. Bernard, a Goldendoodle and a Great Pyranees. We love all of our babies, but none could ever hold the spot in our heart that our Annie held. In fact we had her creamated and her remains are in a decorative box sitting on our fireplace mantel. She was one of our family members. I will have to find some pics of her to share.
