Has anyone heard of 'springer rage', and is it a real thing? I rescued a year old spinger spaniel cross, and one of my friends told me to watch out for springer rage, where the dog will go crazy and just turn on its owner for no reason out of the blue. I have had her for a year now with no problem, just wondering if anyone else has heard of this and if its a legitamate concern. Thanks!
for many years it was considered a legitimate "disease" however most no longer consider it to be so. for some reason they were only noticing it in springers but then it became "rage syndrom".
any dog can have a nurological problem, aneurysm, blood clot etc that can cause erratic behavior.
Are you guys in the USA? , i have been around dogs (particularly Gun dogs) all my life and I have never heard of this!!! - I' am in the UK
