So I have been looking in to getting a puppy for awhile now and I have just previously found a puppy through petfinder.com that is adorable! Here is my thing....The shelter says that it is a German shepard mix...being a first time dog owner I have done my research and have found that many people only recomend GSD for experianced owners only (and for good reasons) BUT I feel like this dog does not look much like a GSD.... I am hoping that you guys might be able to help me out. The shelter is two hours away and is closed fri (today) and I might not be able to make it up there tomo before it closes to look at it and see the puppy for myself. I figured I get some opinions before I drove all the way up there (espesially now with gas prices :???: ) let me know what you think!!!! thanks!!!

ps. the first one is the mom, the second is the puppy im looking at adopting and the third is her sister....

Mom definitely has a great deal of GSD in her. The pups look like GSD & Lab mix.
