Default Please help to identify my dog!

Can anyone help to identify her dog breed? We picked her up 4 years ago at the road side, when she was a puppy. Any guesses would be good!

She's quite solitary (does not like other dogs or people), but a good guard dog (very fierce towards strangers who enter our home but does not bother others when she's outside).

She also has quick reflexes (has killed a few sparrows before) & loves running. Very gentle & polite (even when it comes to food) & always gives in easily to our smaller, naughtier dog!

Thanks in advance! :-D

I would definitely say she has Collie in her, but mixed with what could be anything from golden to shepherd.

Thank you for your replies! I went to check out some pics, and she does look quite like a collie!

On another question, she has golden eyes & a pink nose/paws. I've read in a few websites that this is usually not good (health-wise) due to lack of pigmentation.

Is this true for all dogs, or can this be a natural colour too?

From what I can tell, her skin isn't a very light pink color. The only thing I can think of that might be a problem would be sunburn. In that case, there are spray-on dog sunscreens that you can use on exposed places without much hair, like the bridge of her nose and her ears.
