Default What breed is he?

Ok, so we adopted this big fella May 3rd this year. We are hoping to know what breed he is so that we can better understand and deal with his disposition and needs. His head comes up to my waist and I am 6'2'' and he weighs about 90-95 lbs.
We think he obviously has Chocolate Lab in him, but what else? Look at his face - Mastif?
Thanks

I have to agree with Juella, looks like it could be Lab and Great Dane, especially with his size and weight, but also might have some sort of hound in him, Plott hound maybe. I agree that the vet is the only shot at a more positive I.D. Good luck, and he looks very sweet!

if you want to know for sure you can have your vet check with this company.
The Wisdom Panelâ„¢ MX Mixed Breed Analysis test answers 'What's My Dog?'

They can do a DNA test and will be able to tell you for sure what breeds your dog is comprised of.

the problem with the DNA testing for breed identification is that is accuracy is laughable. On another forum someone had what appeared to be a 100# dalmatian/lab mix tested, the DNA test said it was a westie boston terrier maltese. Maybe in another decade or so it will be reliable, but not now.
