we adopted Macey one month ago. her birth date is said to be 1/22 which puts her at about 15 weeks now. She was 17 pounds when we got her and gained ten pounds in just over two weeks (growth spurt?).
The shelter said she was Siberian Husky / hound mix. I figured shelters usually just guess but it is interesting they said "Siberian" husky - not just "husky".
The volunteer with her did say she was the sweetest of the litter - but sweet is an understatement. She is sooo calm and loving yet also independent. She also seems very smart - has learned sit, paw, down, leave it, stay (the last two just from us using it through out the day). She also started going to door to go out in first week!
Her older brother has growled at her a few times and she has learned when to avoid him.
Anyway...anyone wanna guess her breeds? (she is a very sloppy water drinker also!). We may do a dna test to cure our curiosity! She is the smaller in the pictures. her "brother", Jake is 80 lbs and is said to be husky /rottie mix (again a guess by shelter) - feel free to guess his breeds also!
