Do not have his tail docked. That his horrible advice. Tail docking is done at just a few days old when the tail is still cartilage and not bone. Past a few weeks old, then its a tail AMPUTATION and requires a painful surgery.

| | Guest | I love my Lab/Boxer mix brutus hanging out.jpg This is my Brutus at 10 weeks old. I got my pup at 8 weeks old and he was already 17 lbs and had huge paws. He is a big baby. We got him from a local pound and they had the whole litter and was the only one not picked. He sleeps in bed with me and my hubby and he is excellent with our children even our 7 month old. If any mix breed was the best it would be this. They have such great attitudes and learn very easy. When we got our Brutus he didn't know sit stay or anything and in less then 2 weeks he knew it all. He knows his place in the house and thats our baby. He gets quite goofy at times and he loves to run. Thank heavens for a fenced in back yard because he loves new people and he loves when friends come to visit. The only thing we are still working on is him not jumping on people when they walk in the house but that will take some time since he is only 16 weeks old. My vet told me the same thing but she said with his build and the way he has already grown she wouldn't be shocked if he reached 110.

I just drove 45 min to get this sweet puppy. Tha man I got her from said I was not sure what she was out side of lab. His female lab had gotten out of the yard and was gone three days and when she came back she started to eat alot and got a big belly. She then later had her puppies ( a litter of 11 ) I was the lucky one to get the only girl. I took her to the vet and found out she was lab/boxer mix and she looks it. She loves the kids and my other lab.

| i had a lab/boxer ..
Well abt 5 years ago me & my family got a lab/boxer puppie called darkie. He was adorabe and was really hiper-active. He was also really clever, he could open doors and chuck the ball over the wall for the kids and even take his dinner bowl outside amoungst other things. He was a great natured dog and everyone loved him, bt last October we found lumps under his neck and within a week later he was diagnosed with cancer. After 5 months of treatment, he was not the same dog he started to change not only in appearence bt his attitude to everything did too. In February this year he was put to sleep, even though i miss him lots it was for the best.
I think lab/boxer's are beautiful and are some of the best natured dogs, even though i lost Darkie, it wouldnt put me of getting another.

My best friend has a lab/boxer mix. She is 70lbs full grown. She looks almost all lab though.

I have a boxer lab mix, and he is about 1 year old. He weighs about 50 pounds and is slightly smaller than a lab in stature. He is an adorable addition to my home and I hope you enjoy so much happiness with yours. I would think that since your puppy is growing so quickly that he will be about 60 pounds in the end, so I wish you luck with your little bundle of joy.

Nipping is a problem for every breed of puppy. She just needs to learn bite inhibition. It will take a lot of training and consistency but once she learns she will be the perfect little puppy. Good luck with the training.
