Maybe you all can help me solve the mystery that is my dog
She was adopted from the shelter and we have absolutely no idea where she came from...breed or home wise.

My best theory is either Australian sheppard or boarder collie mixed with corgi or maybe even some type of small spaniel (or maybe just a plain old mutt). She certainly acts like a herding dog! Here are a few pics: note, she was freshley groomed in both, the fur on her ears, legs and belly actually grows a little long.

I would say corgi for sure which is a herding dog.. But unsure of what the other breed could be... The short legs would either be corgi or basset but no way does he/she look like a basset.
Good Luck figuring her out its always fun we had to do that before. The vet might have a idea too.

i agree with you, she looks as if she has aussie shepherd and collie. she has the corgi look in the body. and in the second photo it looks blue heeler. and that could be where the herding instincts culdve come from.
