The first picture looks like Goldens that are more along the lines of show-type dogs. They tend to be stockier than common pet Goldens, which is what the second picture appears to be of. I groom a young Golden who is a little over a year old, and his mom calls him an "English Cream". Personally, I don't buy into breeders charging more for puppies just because they have light, cream-colored coats. That being said, he is an otherwise wonderful example of correct conformation and wonderful temperment for his breed.
