Cool what breed?

I am trying to figure out what my dog Zane could be. So far people have guessed: lab mix, boxer mix, plott mix, and pit mix. So what do you think?

her coloring looks exactly the same as my friends boxer, from her body shape and the brindle coloring I would say she is a boxer mix

Hey guess what I found out-- you can get a breed DNA test kit, mail ordered. The sample is just a mouth swab from your dog, send it in to the lab, and they will send you a certificate specifying the predominate breeds in your dog. Just google search "dog breed DNA test kits" and there are a whole lot to choose from. A mid-grade kit cost just $60 and tests for up to 50 common breeds, and will send you a certificate listing the two breeds of the highest concentration in your dog. More sophisticated tests, costing more, of course, will test for up to 100 breeds and list a combination of up to 3 breeds in your dog. As soon as we can afford it, I want to do that. Anyway, just thought I would pass the word on, in case anyone else is interested in doing that.

I also think it looks like a brindle boxer. I used to have one myself. The ears aren't clipped like you generally see in a boxer.

Well, your pup is a brindle, so at least one parent was probably brindle. It's possible he's boxer/pit mix. Or boxer something else, pit something else. Hard to say with a puppy. It might be easier to figure out once he's an adult.
