We rescued Jake a couple of months ago. He was scared and hungry. You could see his ribs..that's how bad he was starving. I was only supposed to keep him for the night but I got attached to him right away...and so did my dog Buddy who's a lab/dalmation mix. I nursed him back to health. I knew he was going to huge just by looking at his paws but I have no idea...and still have no idea what kind of dog he is. My vet told me that he could be a German Shepherd mixed with some kind of hound dog but I just thought I'd try to get some other opinions. The pic I'm gonna post isn't really recent...he's much bigger than he is in the photo but here goes...Jake is the one on the right...

It's only my guess but I think Jake looks like he may have some Doberman in him. I could be wrong. By the way great name!! My dogs name is Jake too. He's a Lab/Golden Retriever mix.

I see Hound and German Shepard in him. he's Cute.. But I do not see Doberman..

I'm thinking Dobermann + German Shepherd.
