i am currently looking to adopt a husky dog, because i have always liked huskies, and i have been doing some research on this dog breed. this is not the first dog i've owned.

i know they often run off, so i will be building a better fence than already, making sure there is proper reinforcements. i plan on keeping her (the husky) on a leash at all times while outside and not in the yard. the yard is all messed up and dirt anyway, so digging isn't a problem.

though i'm not home 24 hours a day, someone in my family is usually home when i am not. i have a brother, but he is not a child.

i wouldn't mind walking the dog and it snows a lot in my town in the winter and i would LOVE a dog to play with in the snow. i love playing with dogs and petting dogs. i don't mind her shedding.

i have a miniature pincher currently, and yes i realize that could be a problem because huskies don't like small animals, especially since the two are both female. but i am letting the two meet first.

do you think it's all right to continue pursuing this adoption? now that i have showed what i know? =P but seriously, do you think it would be all right to adopt this dog?

I remember when my sister's husky was introduced to my dog which is a shi tzu... Mikki (my dog) was really scared and running all over the place coz maz (my sis husky) was chasing her and wants to play with her... I can really feel mikki's heart beat... so we decided to let max stay inside the room while mikki's with me outside...

Go for it! I suggest several hours a day at dog parks or running as its a high energy breed.
