Right now I have a yorkiepoo and it is about 1 year old but I really want to get another one but I want a dachshund. I don't know how dachshunds are, do they like to lay around or run around? my yorkiepoo is very hyper and active. Do you think that the two different breeds can get along?

Doxies were bred to hunt so yes they need activity......keep in mind their back issues and learn. I think any breed can pretty much get along - provided you know your dogs temperment
