Simply put the lady Im living with does not like pit bulls because of their " mean nature" I believe those pitts were mistreated. But anyways I was wondering what I could tell her the puppy I want is mixed with besides pitt. The daddy is a black German Shepard and the mom is a white shorter and stocky (possibly well fed) and mostly white. The pups are a real light tan color. Both parents have amazing personalities and are very affectionate and friendly. I know I shouldn't lie to her. Any ideas or comments/ suggestions would be great. I told her that they were part shepard already and didnt know what the momma was but that I would ask bob next time I went out there. She has already okayed that I bring the pup home

I know what you mean. A work friend of mine lied about her dog as well, her dog is full PB and she told some people it was a PB mix.

To me, I wouldn't lie. Lying is wrong, if you can try to convince the woman that PB's are nice and are misunderstood. The more people know, the more you learn, the more comfortable they are with them. Ex: I was afraid of sharks, got to know them, now I love them. It can happen with anyone; that's what I say you do at least.
