Is there a difference between Chocolate Labs and Chesapeake Bay Retrievers?

I have a chocolate lab, her mom was black and her dad was chocolate, and there were all three colours in the litter. I remember hearing about the wavy fur on the back being a Chesapeake trait but Hailey has that on her. Does anyone know the difference?

Its a completely different breed. The biggest difference is the curly coated hair. The hair is very oily so that the dog dries off quickly (much like how a ducks feathers are)

Yes they're different as any breed is. The Chessie has more of a, not wiry, but rougher (I guess) coat than the Lab's only because of the curls. But don't think rough as in the terriers, I just mean more so than the Lab's coat.
