Just got pup, 7 weeks old and we were told that it was a lab mix but can't tell what's the mix....

My guess would be possibly boxer mix. but could be pit or mastiff...
Hard to tell at such a young age, but the brindle coloring makes me think boxer/mastiff or pit.

Very nice looking little guy no matter what he is!

The brindle coloring looks a lot like my male boxer. That with the wrinkly face and white markings on the toes just SCREAMS boxer.

So maybe boxer/lab mix?

I would like to thank everybody for their posts.

Our new pup sleeps all the time, he eats very fast then does not want to go outside right after his meal. He likes a small nap first.
He is very good with the kids and has already shown signs of been extremely receptive to commands... So far so good...
The crate training is well underway and we are making some progress.
In a few weeks (after his last shots) we will start puppy training with a K9 facility.

I know it is hard to tell what he is and we have just sent for a DNA test to see what's in him.... It's going to be fun....

My wife thinks Lab/Pitt
I think Lab/boxer or lab/plotthound

Probably a lot more in him...

We'll know in 3 weeks....
