help me i was scammed!
i bought a dog online. it is a chihuahua dog. the owner said that it is a pure chihuahua dog but it doesn't have papers since the mother doesn't have one. we met and i got the dog. i didn't realize until i get home that it has a lot of ticks and fleas and i had it checked by a vet and we found out that it has amoeba on his stool. i also found out that the dog is not a pure chi dog but is half chi and half minipin. what will i do? the owner doesn't respond to my text messages anymore and she is not answering my calls. she still have some dogs for sale on the net (i think she sells in sulit.com). please help me. i want to get half of the money that i paid her. thanks!

Nothing you can do about it unless you paid her through something like pay pal and can file a complaint.
You got your pup from a backyard/hobby breeder. Take it as a lesson learned and buy from responsible breeders or rescues only.

Thats very sad for a puppy to be in such a state. This person should be charged with abuse or at the least neglect.
If you keep the poor little one please keep in mind Ticks can cause issues that can be disabling and life threatening, and could take a cpl of years to show up.
I just lost a 4 yr old Shih tzu to hemolytic anemia, caused by a bacterial infection he got from ticks he had two years ago when my sister had him.
It took 2yrs for this to show up and start causing him to be come ill last summer and just a little over a month ago he lost the battle.
Please don't let the vets lead you to think the tick will cause no harm. They can be deadly when you least expect it.
Good luck I wish you the best, hope your new fur baby gets better.

You do have one other course of action you can take. It just depends on how much time etc. you want to invest. You can take the *bleep* to court.
That being said... I wish the best for you and the little guy.

True, that will cost a lot (probably more than what she paid for the whole pup)
Invest that money into the health care of your new puppy.

That scammer should not be able to sell to other people because she does not sell fairly. Do you have her name? Or her address? That way you can search for her or at least trace her to get back at least half the money you paid.

Sorry, but there is little you can do. Out of curiousity, just how much did you pay for an unregistered chi from a breeder that you didn't know, hadn't checked out, and hadn't met the sire/dame?
Sure you can go to the trouble and expense to sue but for what?
Consider it a lesson learned and I hope you will keep the dog and love the dog...it certainly isn't the dog's fault.

You found the dog online you said? Go that site and tell others how bad she is and is, from the sounds of it, a puppy mill breeder. Never get a dog, from a breeder that is, without checking their papers and looking at the parents.
That being said, if you don't want to keep the dog, I'd drive back to where this lady lives and knock on her door! Or get the police to go there, call the ASPCA on her.
Poor little dog, at least he'll get some vet help now. Good luck.

Sad to say, but if you bought it from sulit.com, I think there is no way you can file any complain for that. Unless you have used paypal to pay for that dog. This should be a lesson to you. Anyway, I think the dog is lucky enough to be bought from an irresponsible breeder. Just take care of the dog.
Anyway, next time you want to purchase dogs, you can visit http://qualitydogs.com/ that can help you with the decision in buying a good and perfect breed.
