He's definitely a terrier mix, I can kind of see Shih Tzu in him.

Looks like a wire haired jack russell terrier mix to me.

The owner said that the mom is shih tzu the dad is lhasa apso/silky.
Although her hair looks wirey, it has grown quite a bit and is soft but all over the place. She is 5 mo. now, I wonder what she will look like at 1 yr., doesn't matter though, I love her like crazy!

It looks like its mixed with a Jack Russel Terrier. But IDK....

It's a she, it's Zoe, she is my baby girl! I emailed the owner again and she said mom was shih tzu and dad lhasa apso/silky, her hair has grown quite a bit. I wonder how long it will get or if it will like other shih tzus.

I see a little mix of lhasa apso and indeed a little bit of a shi tzu. If her hair grows longer then you can decide whether you want to maintain it like that or trim it nice and neatly. But I think she'll look cuter if she has long fur.

Me too, that's what I think, when she is brushed and doesn't shake it out right after, she's adorable.
