Default What is our gorgeous big stubborn boy Res-Q made up of??

from way up in Attiwapaskat, Northern Ontario. Thrown in the dump. he picked out my 3 y/o daughter! He's a hoot! Info:
45lbs at 5 months
Curled tail, white tip (tucks in when he runs and he can run FAST-LOADS of energy)
Large, webbed feet
Brown eyes
Massive ears, wide at the base
Longish straggly fluffyish overcoat, soft tighter fluffy basecoat (snow hangs/balls off him and he dries extremely fast)
Doesn't seem to shed at all

Suggestions welcome as I don't have any extra cash for DNA testing and I really want to know! one day maybe
Here's Res-Q

I agree, looks like a malamute mix to me. Malamutes are pretty big dogs, so if he's already 45 at 5 months, expect him to be a big boy! Maybe 100 pounds or so.

I agree with the Alaskan Malamute, but I also think he looks like maybe a bit like a Keeshond which is a lil bit fluffier than the malamute (based on pics i've seen anyway) but at 45 lbs already, bigger than a keeshond

:-DPretty dog! Does anyone think he might have some Akita or German Shepard 'in there'? My book gives this for a description of a Malamute-Their underbody and face masking is always whitewhile the remaining coat may be light gray to black, gold to red and liver. So I'm thinking there is more there than just the Malamute because of the face coloring.
