Help me decipher my dog's breed, please!
Hi! My dog's name is Tebow Harvin, and he just turned five months old! He is such a sweet boy and already housebroken...incredibly smart!! Knows how to sit, shake, and lie down I adopted him from a shelter when he was 9-10 weeks old, and was told that he was a "lab mix." Alot of people tell me that it's obvious he is part pit as well, but I'd like to know what you think! I contemplated DNA testing, not sure if I want to though!
I attached some pics, hope it worked....if not, someone tell me how to tell pics!!
THANK YOU!!

He is completely chocolate in color, by the way, with a white blaze on his chest about 2.5 inches long and 0.5 inches across

the pics indicate a lab/pit mix. So they told you half the truth that he is a lab mix.

I see pit as well. But Pit's can be really good dogs when given enough stimulation.

Also, in case anyone is an expert, care to tell me how big (or small) he may get? He is 4.5 months old, and weighed in at 26.4 pounds at the vet last week! When we got him at about 9 weeks, he was probably 8-9 lbs, cause when we took him to the vet a week later, he weighed in @ 10.8, then 3.5 weeks later at 18.3...then this recent one (which was another three weeks later) was 26.4 lbs......i know that when puppies are this age, they gain weight like crazy, but when do they get noticeably taller? he's def thicker and taller than when we got him....any ideas?? THANK YOU!!!!!!!
I <3 my puppy

I'd say chocolate lab X Pitt Bull. He will probably stand almost as tall as a lab and weigh a good 50-60 pounds. Definitely not a lap dog!
You may want to hide your slippers and batten down the hatches for the first two years. If this is your mix, you will have one that likes to chew but will settle in after a couple years to a more sedate companion. Keep the Pitt in check and make sure you are the master and not the dog.
Good luck, good training is worth the effort when you end up with a faithful companion.
