Wink Any guess?

Hi there, I'm new to this site, new to the world of dog owner ship as this is my first dog. She is a great dog, about 37 pounds at 10 months. We rescued her as a puppy and was told she is a beagle/terrier mix. But they thought she'd be a small dog. Not so small but SO sweet and also very timid.

Thanks, when I go to the dog park I hear shepard or boxer... I don't know and don't care too much but a little curious.

Judging from your pix, I'd say the rescue group you got your pup from is right on! I don't see shepherd or boxer. The ear set may be what others take as a boxer, but I would expect it to have a shorter snout.
The ears look beagle X terrier to me. Beagles can get up to 25 pounds when full grown and healthy (not overweight), and the largest of the terriers, the Airedale, can get up to 75 pounds. Don't let the size of your dog throw you. The bark won't necessarily give you any clues either. The beagle is a throaty bay type bark and the terrier is a silent trailer, but may bark when there is a stranger nearby.
If you are really curious, you can have a DNA test done by your vet. The cost is minimal and you'll have no more guessing.
Whatever the dog is, you have done a great thing in taking him in - some of my favorite pets have been rescues!

Default Thanks

I love her SO much, I don't care what she is but people keep asking me and giving me what they think she is. She is a very very good dog and very mellow.

One of her funniest things is when her dominate breeds meet- she loves to dig holes but then has to stick her entire head in the hole to smell it! Ends up with sand in her eyes. Crazy dog!

Smile I'm not sure

Hi! I am not sure but I think your dog might be mixed with a Terrier. Wait, is she stomach low to the ground? But she doesn't look like a Boxer or a Sheperd!
Ummm... I'll keep looking to see what she is
