ok so my family and i adopted this dog a little over a year ago now and we still dont know what kind she is for sure.....you can tell by looking at her that she has some kind of shepherd in her but off here alot of things that arent shepherd so i found this site and thought i would see if anyone had any ideas or know what she is....

The markings on her face look like Siberian. Different shadings in her fur look like Heeler. Probably has some Lab thrown in for good measure. She sure looks sweet tho. Call her a Heinz 57.

I thought the markings on the face looked husky or malamute, other than that I was thinking collie of some sort or GSD. but I don't know. I like guessing.

thanks for the input to both of you....we were thinking that she HAD to have some siberan and/or malamute....just looking at her and the height and the tail really.....but the only thing that didnt fit were her colors....but her colors really look like shepard so thats wat were were leaning towards...malamute and/or siberian and some shepard maybe with a little bit of something unknown...lol

Okay defiantly had German Shepard in her. I see by the way the body is built and her ears and expression she does have some Lab in her. But I think she can also have a little it of Husky in her by her markings on her face, the size of her muzzel, and her eyes.(Good Luck)

Im not good with dog breeds but i think that yours looks like a Siberian but im thorn between a Siberian and a lab.

I have been trying to figure out the breed of my dog also. I've been going to google and typing in different breeds and then "pics" and it pulls up only pics of mixed breed dogs and then you can try and find one that looks similar to yours and that will give you a better idea. You just have to try different breeds to see what you get. For example if I was trying to figure out what your dog is I'd go to google and type in "german shepherd siberan mix dog pics" or "lab husky mix dog pics". Just experiment with different breeds and find one that looks like yours.

I had a friend who had a german shepard/yellow lab mix that looked quite a bit like yours...but I agree Siberian might be in there too - good idea to look at Google pics!
