I had this dog about 10 years ago... he was such a sweetheart. He was a shelter dog, about 2-3 years old in these pictures.

As you can tell, he kind of looks like a young golden retriever but this is him full grown. He was about 20-25 pounds, if I recall (about the size of a Shiba Inu).

Anyway, I'm pretty sure he was a mix of some sort but I could never sort out what. Perhaps a finnish spitz partially... I'd love it if someone had a better idea for the future.

He was very smart, very affectionate but mellow.

Looks like a cross between Irish Setter and something else. He sure is cute though.
