Exclamation Please urgent -- What breed combo it is?

We would like some opinions on what breed mix this dog could be. We need them as soon as possible since we are considering adoption.

Thanks a million!

Default Just Guessing

Hi!
Not really very sure but I was wondering also about a lab mix or even a golden retriever. The white color kind of throws me but being a mix I guess the color could be another part of another mix! And I noticed that the other
pup in the pic is the color of a golden retriever--Is this a sibling? It is hard to guess when they are puppies sometimes, esp. if they are a mix---hope you find out. I have a cocker/golden retriever mix (mother was a cocker for sure) but the father? I wondered for years but finally satisfied that he just has to be part golden retriever---but it sure 'bugs' you not knowing--not that it makes any difference as far as the love goes!

Looks like a lab mix to me. hard to tell what the other half is though, as he's just a pup.

Whats with the urgency to work out the breed?

A beautiful dog is a beautiful dog. Mongrel or not, he or she is a beauty!

If I were you I'd adopt it

Default Thank you - why urgent & secondary breed

Thank you for you posts. I would agree that it is a lab mix. The others are brown with some white markings on the tips of the paws and one has a small white patch on the head. The urgency is that I was concerned that there might be pittbull in it and wanted to get some other folks opinions. I have two children and want to avoid that breed mixed in -- I also wondered about the knobs on the lower legs above the paws -- hound, beagle???

I'll continue to check your posts. Have a great day/evening wherever you are. Thanks!

I can see Lab, don't think I see Pit, and not sure what else might be in there.

Those knobs on her legs above her feet are just big "wrist" bones that she hasn't grown into yet.

Looks a lot like a Retriver, but her face and those spots remind me of some sort of a Terrier. Something like a Pit Bull or a Staffordshire.

Default Dog Breed?

I don't think you need to worry about the pit pull I dont see it. He looks like a lab and a russel terrior mix to me due to the coloring and his ears. A small terrier breed... He's cute you shoudl take him! =)

After thinking about it, and looking at some pictures, I'm going to venture another guess.... Lab/Pointer. The Pointer would account for those spots.

It looks to me like there is a Beagle in there somewhere.

I completely agree. Regardless of what breed he/she is if you treat a dog right, have good early interaction with other dogs and kids then it will be a good dog. With problem breeds 90% of the problem is at the human end of the leash.
