So we recently adopted a wonderful Boxer/Pit mix with possibly a little lab/hound. He is 6 months old and we had figured he was about 35 pounds. When we took him to the vet he was a whopping 58 POUNDS!!!! We are curious if anyone knows how big our puppy will get considering he thinks he is a little purse puppy!

PS I have absolutely no idea how to work this sight, so work with me!!

WOW. 6 months and 58 lbs. That is huge. I have no clue how big your puppy will get to be, but he's off to a big start.

Hope you like this forum! To try to answer your question, I looked up in a book I have about the different breeds. It gives all statistics.

1. Boxer--weight==60-70# height==22-24" (this is shoulder height)
2. Lab---- " 60-75# " ==22-24"
3. Hound--Since there are a lot of dif. breeds of hounds--hard to give an answer as some are much bigger than others, but will list a couple of the bigger hounds as you don't really need to know the ones that are less than 60--70 #, as your pup is already to 58 # and you know it could get that big because of the top weights for the boxer and lab !!
Bloodhound--weight==90-110# height==25-27"
Irish Wolfhound " ==115-125# " ==32-38"
Borzoi (hound listed)==75-105# " ==at least 28"
Can't find the pitbull listed in my book but think it is prob. the smallest of all the breeds yoy mentioned anyway, lol, at least it wouldn't get as big as the hounds I listed here! Hope this helps (a little)

My guess based on the mix would be about 60-70 lbs as an adult.

thank you! im now being told there may be some english bulldog . . . might have been american bulldog! lol what ever is the big tall guy! im doubting that he will only gain a few more pounds. . . he is still a bit on the skinny side. . . i guess if noone sees any posts from me for a while my puppy most likely locked ME in his crate!
