We have had Chico for 7 years and were never able to succesfully pin point his breed. All these years we thought he was a rhodesian ridgeback/pitbull but, we were never sure. I just found this site and I want to know what you think he is. Here are some pics:

He's at least part pit bull.

I don't feel very convinced, also I don't think he has any lab in him.

You must be able to tell if he has Rhodesian Ridgeback in him! I quote from my book--Guide on Breeds: The breed gets its name from a peculiarity of the coat----a well~defined dagger~shaped ridge of hair that lies along the spine in the opposite direction to the rest of the coat. Strong, active dog with a dense, glossy coat that comes in solid shades of red to light wheaten with a dark muzzle and sometimes a little white on the chest. When alert, the brow is wrinkled. Love to swim.

I see a lab in your dog... but i am not sure... hopefully someone can shed light to your problem...
