Hi,

I have recently got a new puppy he is about 14 weeks now and i was wondering if anyone could tell me what breed he is, the dog resuce i got him from say he is a collie cross but i would like to know with what and what type of collie. Also sometime his ears are floppy and other days upstraight like on the pictures lol.

Well I definetly see some Belgian Groenendael. I dont see anything else to be honest. Maybe some Border Collie.

I see a little Collie in the dog but looks can be deceptive, especially since your dog is so young. My newest dog (who has been with me for over 2 years) I got from the local SPCA, I was told he was a mix between a German Shepherd and several other breeds, as he grew older he became less and less like a German Shepherd and I decided to get the real results. I did a little research and discovered a place online that offered Dog DNA Tests that show you exactly what percentage of what breed your dog is. You can either google Dog DNA Tests of go to Canine Heritage® Breed Test that's the place I got my test from, not the most expensive and not the cheapest, do some shopping around & Good luck!

Went to your link...There are very few breeds available. I would consider it a waste of money.

Over 100 of the 'main' breeds, but in my humble opinion $100 to get a better understanding about the breeds that make up your dog is well worth it.
