What breed is my puppy ? :)
I recently adopted my pup "twizzler" from a rescue agency in atlanta. They found him in a ditch on the side of the road with the rest of his litter wish I could have taken all of them. The agency did not know what type of dog he was when I adopted him at about 8 weeks (guesstimate) He's now almost 7 months old and just graduated his puppy kindergarten =P. Any guesses as to what he is or what type of mix he may be? I have my suspicions but i'll let you decide! I've attached 1 picture of him at 2 months, a pic of him at about 5 months, and one recent one on the beach at almost 6 or 7 months. I believe he currently at 7 months weighs about 25 lbs.

I'd say there is definitely some boxer in there...

I agree that there is some boxer there--Had one once very long time ago--The white markings are right on and the basic color too--But there must be another breed showing in the shape of the face as Boxers have a wider face--unless this will change with time, lol, can't remember on the one I had 40 or so yrs ago! But I can't come up with another breed right now!Pretty and healthy looking dog!

Thanks! His ears and face look a little terrier to me? but his markings (other than no black mask) look boxer. I found a bunch of pictures of a Jack Russel Terrier / Beagle mix that look almost identical to him a few months ago. If he was boxer i would think he would weigh a lot more than 25 lbs at 7 months tho. This is the Jack Russel/Beagel mix i saw. What do you think?

it is feasible that it could be a Boxer/JRT. The weight is never an issue when it comes to mix breeds since you do not know what genetic make up will determine size. You feasibly could have a litter and of those from this mix will end up being both large and small since you have 2 separate breeds.
Based on the feet in the last pic, I can see where Boxer is actually quite possible. Boxers have distinct feet, especially front paws. These look like those I have seen on Boxers. But as you noted, could be Beagle and JRT also.
