Default Help with our Lucky

We adopted this great guy and were told he was Australian Cattle dog and Sheltie. We don't really agree with it. He is a lot bigger, about lab size.

No expert here but after searching my breeds book will guess! I really can't see any lab there unless it would just be like you said --the size! The coat color looks Australian Cattle Dog to me as does the face shape. What kind of coat does it have--coarse or fine? Does it have a 'ruff' around the neck? What is the height (shoulder height) and the weight? How old about--Is it full grown?

Australian Cattle Dog: Male-17-20" ---weight-32-35 lb
Lab Retriever: 60-75 lb. and 22-24" (shoulder height)

A lab is stockier I think than what your dog looks. A lab is a solid color with a few white markings possible---but usually one pure color.
