Thats basicaly it...People do not research a breed before getting it, all dogs are different..Staffies are strong willed, and if you do not start training from day 1, it will please itself what it does....
So many people buy dogs because they like the look of it! I lovel Collies, but would never own one, because I cannot give it the life style it needs....

Taz seeing as uve owned staffis for 30 years can you do me a fav and me here plz.

Im not sure how old my dog is I'd say shes about 6/7 but people say she looks to healthy & that her coat is too nice she doesnt have a touch of grey.

I took some pictures so you can see here & try & give me a age.

And she is fit as a fiddle has bundles of energy!!!

I don't have a Staffie, but I do have American Pit Bull Terriers which aren't THAT different & I LOVE them! Unfortunately, these breeds aren't as popular in the US as they are in UK.

See now we thought she was around 6-7

But I've seen many staffies around the asme age as her and have ALOT more grey than her. I didnt think she was that old.

When we last took her to the vet we asked the vet but theres no defient way they can tell and she really wasnt sure so...

Ok Well I think she might be about 5 maybe 5 1/2.

Also just wandering but whats the normal life expectancy of staffies? espcially this breed?

Lol thats a long time I didnt realise they live that long, well thats great she can come live with me when I move out or she canstay & keep my folks company.

Well now I see why dogs become such companions to people as crikey in your life for 18 odd years, your going to get attached lol!

Yes, they can live for a pretty long time. My one friend's dad used to breed American Pit Bull Terriers. The only reason he doesn't anymore is because his male is at least 27 years old & can't breed anymore. He wants to get a new male, but only wants a certain bloodline which is very hard to find. I know that a dog living that long is very rare, but it does happen.

LOL That would be awesome. Hopefully, if you keep her healthy, she'll live to be a good old age. You never know. I'm hoping mine live to be quite old as well. LOL
