Default Just wanted to check if this was a Wire fox terrier.

I recently saw this photo from a website and saved it and wanted to look into what breed it was. I have a wire fox terrier myself but he looks a little different than this picture. I just wanted to see if my guess that this is a wire fox terrier was true. Thank you.

Yes, that is a wirehaired fox terrier. Though generally they will have a little black or tan/brown markings. Their primary color is white.

Do you think there could be some poodle cross there--the all white color and the curly coat?

The wirehaired is actually a curly coat. The all white though not common does occasionally occur.
Coat patterns and coat hair is commonly defined or described differently in different breeds. What is curly in one breed may be defined as wirehaired in another.

monet, yes, that is a WFT. Looks as if he may have been clipped at some point rather than hand stripped.

I had WFT's up until about two years ago when I had to put my last one day due to poor health. I got my first bitch in 1974 and showed my wires until the late 80's. MOST WFT's are tri-colored however, there is also ginger wires and all white wires, both are relatively rare.
