Hello everyone,

Me and my husband are considering adopting a greyhound. I've read all about them but I would like to hear some reviews from current owners and to get some suggestions about where to adopt. And also, how would you rate their shedding?

Personally, I've never had one. However, I knew someone a number of years ago who had two retired racing dogs and he absolutely loved them! Surprisingly, he said that they didn't need a lot of exercise, were lovely friendly dogs and he was very happy that he'd chosen to rescue these two.

From my own experience with them, they were gentle and friendly dogs who were just so full of love. I never once saw either one of them behave in an aggressive manner toward other dogs in the off leash park. My Border Collie X loved them! I don't know if these two were typical of greyhounds but they were both wonderful dogs. I hope that helps!
