What kind of dog is this?
This dog showed up on my porch last Thursday and has been there ever since. I'm going to post some flyers to see if he is lost. I honestly believe that he was put out by someone. Looks like he hasn't been fed very much. He's not the most good looking puppy(strange coloring), but he's got a cute face. He's also very sweet and loving. Can anyone tell from the picture, what breed he might be?

Welcome to the forum!
[B] Just guessing of course! Because mainly of the coloring-2 breeds come to mind--German Pointer and Australian Cattle Dog---Mainly the German Pointer! Here is a great link to a site that gives a lot of pics and descriptions. Be sure to check out the German Pointer--short-haired! Notice that there are more pages at bottom of the page to click on for more pics! And when you have checked out this breed--Go to top of page and 'hit' All Breeds for more alphabeticaly listed pages of breeds. Happy hunting--I love this site: http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/a-z.htm

I'm seeing a cross of Pit with Dal or Pointer.
The broad jowls are not indicative of a Heeler or Pointer or Dal.

I agree with pit. My dog may have some pit in her as well. You can see it in the broad forehead/skull.

I agree Pitbull cross for sure. With either ACD or a Dal. Whatever it is crossed with wouldnt be a large breed dog as pits arent large breeds either.
