We found this poor guy in the cold snow on a golf course, far out of our town. We have posted a found ad on the radio and no one has come forward for the dog?
He looks about three years old.....is there anyone that could help me?
I have posted pictures.....He's beautiful...
I just finished adding more photo's of him in an album....Who am I?

He is black and has alittle brown on the lower part of his body, big fluffy, curly tail. Big brown eyes...and he also has long fur on his paws...but he has short hair around his face..not long like shih tzu...Im thinking he is two kinds of breeds...but which ones?

He is beautiful! Nice white background to show him off of too---Still, he is so black--wish I could see his face better. Kind of hard to know what size/weight he is too--can't see anything in the background to 'size him up with.' I have a breeds book that I use to try to find out what kind of dog it looks like and I am seeing possibly Schipperke---These males weigh 12-16 lbs. and are 10-13 inches shoulder down.----Darn, wish I could see that face better. He does look like the body of a papillon but he may be a mix because I don't think papillons come in pure black. In my book it says papillon's coats are white with patches of any color except liver.

He's gorgeous - how can anyone lose a dog like that and not do all in their power to find him! He looks to me like a Tibetan Spaniel.

I think it might be a tibetan spaniel mix, I am very experienced with dogs and by the look ofit especially against the white backround I beleive it's a tibetan spaniel. And I think it's great that you took him in! Go to google and type in Tibetan Spaniel and those are pics of them but it might be a mix, thanks for reading!

looks like a Pek mix to me for sure VERY cute little dog!

It carries traits of both the Peke and Tibetan. I do not see Papillon but guess there could be some in it. But as I breed Paps, I cannot see where.
