The pamphlet gives a much better detailed description but I can't post it all here now but: WISDOM Panel MX performs a complex genetic analysis to detect breeds in your dog's family history, examining over 300 sites along your pet's DNA, then comparing them to Mars Veterinary genetic database.

That's really interesting. If I didn't know that Bailey was the product of 2 "purebreds behaving badly", I'd be very tempted to give it a try!
