Well, I guess he would be somewhere in between the 2 mentioned breeds! Here are a couple links on info for the 2 breeds--including sizes and weights as well as many pics---great site!
American Pit Bull Terrier, Pit Bulls, Pitbulls

I agree with Corky Max. You never can tell because the pup inherits different genes from both parents but it should be somewhere between each breeds standard. Is the dog a male or female though for this will def. influence size?

I'd love to see how your dogs have grown since you last posted. My dog, Gunner, is a male pit/mastiff mix that I rescued from the shelter when he was 4 mos old and about 30 pounds. He is now almost 7 months old and 68 pounds. I'm wondering how much further he's got to go? He's long but not very muscular yet and I'm wondering if that is because he was fixed at the shelter? Whether he fills out or not we love him to death and to him, I could do no wrong. Having someone, albeit a dog, who absolutely worships me is kind of a hoot!

I had a friend that had mastiffs mixes. They were all over 100lbs. and were such gentle giants. They lived on 20 acres in East Texas and needed every bit of that land as the dogs just loved to roam.

Gunner is now a year old and about 110 pounds. He's very strong and very fast. He looks much more mastiff being taller and less stoudt than a pitbull is. His temperament is very good. He is very friendly and very curious about everything. Fast to catch on and learn new things too. Great indoors and out but if he doesn't get to run a couple miles everyday he gets anxious and very bored. I can understand the need for lots of space! Overall he's a great dog and we wouldn't change anything about him!
