Here is a couple pics of this puppy we have acquired and would like guesses of what may be mixed in there.

We were thinking she was a mix with some pit or a lot of pit in her, (atleast I am / was). I never thought of the American Staffordshire Terrier..... Maybe a mix of the two of some of it.... I pulled up pictures of puppies of both and seem to agree with both... But only the American Pitbull Terrier kind for the most part. Who knows. Thus a guessing game, thank you both, and if anyone else wants to throw out an idea, I'd appreciate it. her tail is long and slender, here's a pic of that view...

I'm definately seeing pitbull as well.
~MAYBE~ crossed with some other breed but I'd say mostly pitbull.
Next time you pop into the vet, just ask them what their opinion would be! My vet shocked me with my female pooch

Click on these links for many pics and descriptions of each of the breeds. And esp. read the origin under the pitbull link (bottom one)--Note the part especially where it is hard to distinguish the difference in these 2 breeds. And make sure to scroll all the way down on the pages as at bottom of the pages there are many more pages with pics. to click on.

tamm147, My vets (two) both gave the same answer of "We don't like to guess anymore, cause anything can be mixed in with anything and we have seen dogs the size of palms turn into quarter horses."

In other words, they either don't know what they're doing or just don't want to say.... heh. When we got her she was badly infected with mange and it took the first 2 1/2 months of treatments to control it, now tests come back negative. Heh, cleaning the house everynight sucked, but she's well loved and taken care of now.

I went through many of the images on Google Images as soon as the suggestion comes in, and the closest puppy pic I can see if Pit Bull..... I know she has some of it in her, probably more than I first thought. We shall see again at 6-8 months as this is when most of the characteristics will show up.

Thanks all!

I say mostly staff as well. I say staff over pit because of the reddish coloring which is more common in a staff than a pit.

Very cute dog though!

I am thinking what I already stated earlier--mostly staffie or pitbull but will add the other mentioned breed--maybe some boxer (not very much though) She really didn't change too much in looks in the past few months--just stretched out mostly. Her face seems not as full as a staffie/pitbull (or boxer) but I can't figure what else she might be mixed with.
