So I adopted Chianti this past winter she is now 6 months old. One of her sisters had blood shipped off to a lab to determine her breed. The results came back as German Shepherd and Stafford-Shire Terrier. However, I have heard that those tests are far from accurate. While browsing the internet I have came across Belgain Malinois, a breed that seems to fit her better.

I am looking for a dog breed expert, particularly in regards to Belgian Malinois,to help determine her breed. I am open to questions or can post more pictures if needed.

No expert here but I think I can see some German Shepherd. As far as Belgian Malinois---Have you seen this site: Belgian Malinois Information and Pictures There are 2 pages of pics here and description, etc. In my breeds book it states: Description--Similar to German Shepherd Dogs, with well-shaped heads and long muzzles, each variety is distinguished by its coat. (unquote) Your dog does resemble the Malinois--1 of 4 distinct varieties differentiated by appearance. If it is part this breed --that is the one! You do realize that the female could of mated with more than 1 dog and that some of the pups could be part different breeds depending on the father!

As far as Belgian Malinois def. could be! Could be a combo of all 3!
