Hi I was wondering if anyone can help me identify my 2 month old dog I got him from the shelter and on the paper said he was a cairn terrier mix but I've done a little research and he doesn't seem to fit that breed because of the floppy ears and less hair so I hope anyone can help me. Thank you

Oooh he's gorgeous - like a little teddy bear. But it's far too early to tell. He could well be a Cairn mixed with something with a smooth coat and floppy ears - he wouldn't necessarily be identifiable as a Cairn at all. I have a friend whose dog is a Jack Russell crossed with a German Shepherd but you would never know it. He looks like a biggish Jack Russell.

At eight weeks I've seen Jack Russells that look like German Shepherds, Border Collies - even the vet told me I had a Border Collie when my pup was 9 weeks. He is three years old and 10 inches high now - nothing like a Border.
