This is a guess but appears to have maybe some Golden or Lab in the mix. The head and crown of the head I have seen before...Just not quite sure.

I am going to mention 4 different breeds.
#1.--Lab Retriever--the short coat and color, somewhat the face
#2.--Golden Retriever--face, color, but definitely not the coat--Goldens have nice longer feathered hair-----What does the tail look like--Is it thick at the base and round and tapered--described as an otter's tail--That would be for a Lab Retriever! A Golden's has a lot of longer hair on it's tail. (To me Golden's are beautiful--I had a golden mix.)
#3.--American Staffordshire Terrier or pitbull (Not quite the same breed)--color and short coat and something about the face a little
#4.--Boxer--color and short coat, body build. (Had one of these a long time ago)
All 4 are about the height of your dog--the staffie being a tad shorter (maybe about 3") and weight ranges are more in the staffie range and the other 3 a little heavier but as Yogi has said some individual dogs of whatever breed don't necessarily have to be in the range given. Also you realize that being a mixed breed --It depends on which breed it takes after for height and weight or could be a combo of both breeds---And who knows there could be more than 2 breeds mixed here!
Here is a good link to a site where you can look up any breed you want--will see many pics and descriptions, etc. On the home page click on all breeds at top of page. Dog Breed Info Center®, DBI
