:] I just wanted to see if anyone would give me suggestions on my puppy "Sidney." I just adopted her. I am guessing she is 2 to 3 months. She is very energetic and SMART! I have had her for a week and I've taught her to sit and stay in her crate without whining like my other dogs in the past (which include goldens, a lab, and a malamute!).
My boyfriend is convinced she is a Taiwanese dog (no black tongue though) The person I talked to said she is a mix. Like me... he had no idea. She does not have the traditional markings of a border collie but she does have some personality traits like one. So my guess is border mix because I can spend an hour just playing with her (for a puppy that's pretty good... I think!).

Hairless belly and furry tail as trademarks
Taiwan Dogs are not big; they are medium-sized digs. The male dogs have a shoulder height of around 50 cm, the bitches 40 cm. Their jaws are firm and solid, and their faces are slightly triangular.
The ears could either be upright or semi-folded, depending on the environment where the dogs grow up. The base of the ear is forward, showing spirit and energy. The tail is especially telling. There are two kinds, straight and curved, and the tail coat is thick.
