The coat and colouring look like a poodle but the shape looks too round.

Welcome to the forum!
Maybe some Bichon Frise or a Terrier--Cairn Terrier or Norwich Terrier. Would say West Highland WHITE Terrier if the coat color is the result of another mix as the 'pure' West Highland White Terrier is white!
Maybe it is a combo of one of the breeds I just mentioned and the poodle! I agree with Cigwyllt about not having the face shape of a Poodle!

I looked up the lagotto romagnolo but the size and color is different do you think it could be a mix with a jenloren poodle? What coler is this? gold? red?
I am so in love with this baby. I have to have one and i've already named him Wubbzy.

Don't want to rain on your parade but searching out a pup on the basis of a single photo is like looking for a needle in a hay stack. I'd never heard of a Jen Loren poodle but a quick look at the website is enough to put me off. If you want a poodle, buy a poodle. If you want a cross breed (or as they used to be known, a mongrel) go to the local shelter and take your pic.
If it is the colour you want then a poodle could be what you are looking for - they come in so many different colours and have the same colour coat as the dog in the pic.
If the dog in the pic is a cross breed you may as well give up your search. Cross breeds don't breed true. That pup could be a cross between a poodle and a Maltese for instance and may be the only one in the litter that looks like that. The parents could mate again and produce another litter and again no two pup would be the same.

thanks cigwyllt
its the color and the coat that I love also the fact that its a small dog. I don't like the long muzzle on the poodles i've seen. I don't know much about little dogs I had a Chow for 15yrs and he passed recently. My kids are grown and I live alone & I really am dieing for a companion/lap dog. I've searched since Aug. this is the first dog i've seen that really appealed to me. I understand what you're saying though.

If the most important requirement is that it is a lap dog then go to your local pound/shelter and look at the dogs there. You are obviously open minded as to the breed so you may well find that you just fall in love. I hope your search for your companion doesn't take too long.
I know what it is like to go out with one thing on your mind and come home having fallen head over heels with something totally different. My Jack Russell had to be smooth coated tan and white. I ended up with a tri colour floor mop and I have never loved a dog as much as I love this one.

How about checking out the Papillon! It can have some of that coloring and is a cuddly loving little lap dog. Ask Yogi--He has this breed and knows them well. My next dog will prob. be one of these as I will be looking for a lap dog too. Here is a link to pics and description: I don't care for the 1st pic but there are 3-4 pages of some pretty cute dogs. Be sure to scroll all the way down as ads get in the middle and are misleading, thinking you are at bottom when you aren't! Papillon Information and Pictures, Papillons, Butterfly Dog, Pap, Continental Toy Spaniel
