This is my new pup, Bear. He was abandoned in the alley behind my house 2 weeks ago. The truck he was dumped from had a big german shepherd in the cab, so mama may be a shepherd. The ears are the mystery. Small and tightly folded.

Unfortunately this is a pup not old enough to tell what it is. At this point there is not way to know. Wait til it is approx 9 months or so. By then the ears could easily change, head shape and body could change as well as the coat and the coloring. This is why you wait til is matures before guessing because more things will become obvious. Good looking little guy though.

Hey, that is one cute puppy! Be sure to keep us posted with pics as he grows so we can maybe figure out what he is mixed with. I have the feeling he is going to change a lot! Lol, guess he was lucky to get dumped in the right spot! Aren't puppies great!!
Just for the heck of it---If those ears were not to change too much and I had to make a guess right now--I would be inclined to say they look like Chinese Shar Pei ears!
Can check out the ears of a Shar Pei here if you are curious. Be sure to scroll all the way to bottom of page---ads get in the way and are misleading. Lot more pages of pics to click on at bottom of page too.--->http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/sharpei.htm
