She is a rescue dog. I brought her home when she was a tiny puppy. Someone had dropped her off at a shelter and she was too young to stay there. She is now 6 months old and all kinds of loveable. I assume she is mostly chocolate lab, but wondering if there any other breeds in her... Any thoughts?

Something about the face and build, tail, ears reminds me of a German Pointer--certainly mixed with something else--prob. Lab. I see alot of Lab in the head shape and ear set, and tail. She's a tad leggy for the breed standard, but people are breeding labs any which way. for example, I've seen Purebred labs at 50 lbs, and 115 lbs and everything inbetween.

Her coat's short for a lab though, it's likely she has something quite shorthaired in her like the GSP that C/M said, or Weimeriner, or Doberman. Whatever she is, she's stunning.

Thank you both for your replies. It is fun to try to figure out what Cocoa is. I am super curious of how big she'll end up getting.... I know she is a 100% loveable & super cute and a might bit goofy. A perfect little doggie companion! I'll post some more photos as she grows up.
