Hello, I adopted this puppy from a foster, they said owners gave him and his sister up and claimed to be a Cockapoo (Cocker & Poodle). I think they are right, but the vet told me that it could POSSIBLY be a Chow mix too (because he has some purple spots on his tongue).

What do you think?

What a gorgeous puppy. It's much too early to see what he is yet. If you hadn't mentioned any breeds I would have guessed that he was a retriever! You'll just have to stay around and post lots of pics of him as he grows so that we can see what he grows up to be!

Spots on the tongue doesn't necessarily mean he has Chow in him. Labs and Goldens can have them, too, infact there are several breeds that can get spots on the tongue (I once met a registered, purebred St. Poodle with one single spot in the middle of his tongue) The pup is ADORABLE!!! and I would'a thought he was a Golden too! but way too young to tell. Post some more pics as he grows... pretty please! he's soooo cute!
